This project is a perfect example of how to create an interior with real character – even with a limited budget. The 61 m² apartment was designed for a young woman who wanted a light, functional, and contemporary space for both living and working.
We rethought the original two‑bedroom layout, combining the kitchen and living room into a single, open‑plan space. The apartment also includes a separate bedroom with a walk‑in wardrobe, a bathroom, and an entrance hall – everything needed, with no wasted square metres.
The key tool? Colour.
A light, neutral base paired with bold mustard accents made the interior both expressive and highly personal – without significantly increasing the budget. Contrasting feature walls in the hallway and living room visually correct the narrow corridor and gently define the workspace, all while preserving a sense of openness and flow.
This project clearly demonstrates how thoughtful planning, precise colour choices, and a minimalist approach can deliver a stylish, functional interior that looks far more expensive than its actual cost.
REVIEW FROM THE APARTMENT OWNER:
“
We worked with Svetlana in 2014. Back then, we had to transform our small three-room apartment into a cozy, beautiful, and functional apartment!
The result exceeded all expectations! Thanks to Svetlana, we were able to fit everything we needed into the apartment, and the color schemes and interior design ideas are so harmonious that we're still happy with it to this day! We haven't had a single urge to change a thing!
Svetlana, thank you very much!
