This apartment belongs to a young family with two children. The owners wanted to create a light, European-style cozy interior, where it would be nice to gather with family and close friends.

In this Moscow apartment, located in a house near the Avtozavodskaya metro station, we organically combined familiar IKEA furniture with expensive accessories and textiles from well-known brands.

The owner of the house — a Frenchman who moved to Moscow several years ago, wished to see notes of his homeland in the new housing. As a basis, we took the style modern european classics. High ceilings with richly stuccoed plinths, a crystal chandelier, a symmetrical arrangement of furniture and accessories - all these are typical details of interiors in the Parisian style.

 

 

 

LAYOUT

While working on the layout of the apartment, it was decided to combine the kitchen with the living room and create a large single space where there is a place for leisure activities for each family member. The little inhabitants of this home, Timofey and Misha, love to play in the living room while their mother is cooking, so Svetlana Startseva made this area as spacious and open as possible. Here it is convenient to expand the Lego constructor or build a whole railway without disturbing the older family members.

The parents of these boys are sociable people, they often invite friends to visit, for their convenience a large soft zone was organized for communication or family watching a movie. They tried to fit the entire family collection of books, magazines and souvenirs from trips into a large closet
